The Dark Knight Rises

‘The Dark Knight Rises’, the last chapter of the Christopher Nolan’s retelling of the Batman story, is far from perfect; there are too many characters and there are too many things happening. Yet, the one thing that works like magic is the presence of Ann Hathaway as the Catwoman, Selina Kyle. She brings a rare freshness to this grim story of anarchy and honour and courage, and this conversation between her and Bruce Wayne, their second meeting after she steals a pearl necklace from his vault, is the best of all, where Wayne finds a match for himself, smart and winsome, as she is perfect in her job as a master jewel thief.
