Notting Hill

This is the classic case of Dramatic Irony, from the film, Notting Hill. She is a high-profile Hollywood star. He doesn’t know that. They get into a conversation. He asks her what she does. She says acting. He thinks she is two-penny actor in the London theatre scene. Then she says she works in movie. Then he shamelessly asks her how much she earns. And she answers, without batting an eyelid: fifteen million dollars.
