The heartbreaking finale of ‘A Star is Born’, when Norman Maine calls out to Esther to look at her for the last time.
As far as love stories go, this one is one of my favourites. This story does something that most love stories fail to do. It keeps the love between the two lead characters intact. They may not be able to communicate with each other, they may have gone in different directions, but their love for each other is steadfast, and they never fight, never ever in the film, and they never hurl accusations at each other. For a love story, this is extraordinary.
