Working on the Washington Irving short story, ‘Sleepy Hollow’, the modern retelling of the television series transports not just Icabod Crane and the headless rider to modern day Sleepy Hollow, a neighbourhood near New York, but also transforms at that is weird and macabre in such stories, borrowing from all sort of sources, all somehow leading to Icabod Crane.

So, it was time when they focused on the mysticism of India. They did in this episode, and predictably, they focused on Kali, the Goddess of Destruction, who, according to the story’s logic can turn you into a zombie-like creature.
