Popular Fiction

Today morning, a friend sends me an SMS saying that she needs a list of popular fiction for a syllabus she is designing. She did not mention whether it should be India specific, or otherwise. And, I had to produce the list then and there, out of the thin air. This is the list produced out of thin air. Given time and motivation, I hope to expand it, or shorten it.
